We went with Portoalities to Braga and Guimaraes and had Sara to ourselves for the whole day. She's a smart, energetic and well-informed guide with first-rate English skills. She took us to several places we would have missed on our own, including a wonderful local restaurant. She was patient with our desire to squeeze in some jewellery shopping and throughout the day kept up a lively conversation focused on our interests. We have no hesitation n recommending her to anyone who wants a high-quality tour.
We had a great day with Sara in Guimaraes and Braga. She is extremely knowledgeable and made the history of Portugal come to life. We also enjoyed going to a local place for lunch in Braga - the most unassuming location in a residential area with the most delicious grilled sardines and meat. Sara and her team are very responsive and their passion for their country and their work is evident. Highly recommend!
Researching about Porto, we discovered Portoalities and in a group of 8 people we took the Private Tour to Braga and Guimarães. Very pleasant day of visits to historic monuments with the personalized narration of Sara about the historical context of the Portuguese kingdoms. At lunch we had the opportunity to discuss authentic Portuguese cuisine and had two wonderful white wines kindly chosen by her. Overall, a very nice day!
