That&#8217;s right: the fastest growing animal population at the Crystal Palace gardens is the peacocks, that wonder around freely, amazing us with their magnicient colors and funny jumps. When I met the staff and the animals of Santo In\u00e1cio Zoo, I learned that this place is there to educate people about the importance of the conservation of wildlife &#8211; something they\u2019re contributing to greatly. So I highly recommend you visit the zoo when it\u2019s spring in Porto and I am positive you\u2019ll fall in love with the animals and nature around.<\/span><br>The ticket to Zoo de Santo In\u00e1cio is a bit expensive, but the money is used to take care of the sheltered animals, so it is worth it.<br><i>How to get there: I would probably just take an Uber to get there.<\/i><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enjoy lunch with a view<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"668\" height=\"474\" src=\"http:\/\/portoalities.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/terrace-digby-restaurant-porto.png\" alt=\"terrace digby restaurant porto\" class=\"wp-image-50986\" srcset=\"https:\/\/portoalities.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/terrace-digby-restaurant-porto.png 668w, https:\/\/portoalities.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/terrace-digby-restaurant-porto-300x213.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 668px) 100vw, 668px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the things I like to do the most during spring in Porto, especially if there is a clear sky, it&#8217;s to go for lunch at a restaurant overlooking the douro river, or to head to the beach (in Matosinhos, in Le\u00e7a da Palmeira or even in Angeiras) and have lunch there \ud83d\ude42 There are, indeed, <a href=\"http:\/\/portoalities.com\/porto-restaurants-with-view\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">great Porto restaurants with a view<\/a>, that became increasingly popular after the pandemic. This 18th century building, which belongs to John Allen\u2019s family (an English businessman), has one of the best collections of <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/portoalities.com\/why-is-camellia-the-flower-of-porto\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Camellia, the flower of Porto<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><br><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can take a guided tour to the garden and learn the history of the building, the garden, the family and their business.
