It really is a delight, this family restaurant in Porto.<br>Over there you can enjoy some delicious artisanal hamburgers or snacks, such as <em>pataniscas<\/em> (deep fried codfish cakes). On this list of the best family restaurants in Porto.<br>One thing I really like about Pizzeria Luzzo is that the atmosphere, although relaxed, is also elegant, being pleasant for both adults and children. What it lacks in the quality of service (it&#8217;s very slow), it compensates with its perfect location at Parque da Cidade, one of the <a href=\"http:\/\/portoalities.com\/best-parks-and-gardens-in-porto\/\">best parks in Porto<\/a>.<br>I particularly like going there on Saturdays in the morning, when the Biological Market takes place, with the best producers you can imagine.<br><em>How to get there: the buses 208 and 501 stop practically in front.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Restaurante de Serralves<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rua Dom Jo\u00e3o de Castro, 210 | Porto<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/portoalities.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/total2-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"813\" height=\"280\" class=\"wp-image-2664 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/portoalities.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/total2-1.jpg\" alt=\"total2\"><\/a><br>Another classic spot for families with kids is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.getyourguide.com\/porto-l151\/porto-serralves-museum-park-entrance-ticket-t66545\/?partner_id=H93B56T&amp;cmp=family-restaurants-porto\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">Serralves Foundation<\/a>. On the first floor there is a huge restaurant with a buffet of both cold and hot dishes, which also has a sunny terrace. It is definitely one of the best family restaurants in Porto, in terms of space, security and quality of food.<br>Take my suggestion and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.getyourguide.com\/porto-l151\/porto-serralves-museum-park-entrance-ticket-t66545\/?partner_id=H93B56T&amp;cmp=family-restaurants-porto\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">get the online ticket to Serralves<\/a> for 20\u20ac, which gives you access to the museum and to the park (kids under 12 years old don&#8217;t pay). It is quite an experience to wonder around the park before lunch at Serralves&#8217; restaurant, and then go for the museum (or the other way around).<br><em>How to get there: the buses 203 and 207 stop across the street.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Restaurante da Praia do Homem do Leme<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Avenida Montevideu | Porto<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/portoalities.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/ddddd-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/ddddd-1.png\" alt=\"ddddd\" class=\"wp-image-2676\"\/><\/a><figcaption>\u00a9 Restaurante da Praia do Homem do Leme<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There is nothing to point out at Restaurante da Praia do Homem do Leme, a nice restaurant located in the <a href=\"http:\/\/portoalities.com\/what-to-do-in-foz\/\">Foz neighborhood<\/a>. It has a terrace in front of the ocean, and a playground next door. I even dare to say that it is perfect for families with kids, young couples, groups of friends &#8230; Versatility is the key word here!<br><em>How to get there: the bus 500 stops across the street.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.com\/Restaurant_Review-g2480540-d5959992-Reviews-Restaurante_Parque_Aguda-Arcozelo_Vila_Nova_de_Gaia_Porto_District_Northern_Port.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Restaurante Parque da Aguda<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Avenida Gomes Guerra, 721 | Arcozelo<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"668\" height=\"454\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-26779\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/parque-aguda-family-restaurant-porto.png\" alt=\"parque aguda family restaurant porto\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"668\" height=\"447\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-26782\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/terrace-playground-restaurante-parque-aguda.png\" alt=\"terrace playground restaurant parque aguda\"><br>Parque da Aguda restaurant is known for good food and attentive service (although, as I know, from time to time it has some flaws), but it is particularly attractive for families with children as it has a huge outdoor area, with terrace, garden and a playground.<br>After lunch, take a walk on Aguda beach, you will see that you will not regret it.<br><em>How to get there: Aguda train station is nearby.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Restaurante Di Casa<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rua Fernando Lopes Vieira, 262 | Vila Nova de Gaia<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"668\" height=\"420\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-26778\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/di-casa-restaurants-porto-families-kids.png\" alt=\"di casa restaurants porto families kids\"><br>I have already been to Di Casa on two dates and, on both occasions, I got the feeling that it is a restaurant much more suitable for families with children than for couples.
