Now, let me present the best bungalows in the Douro valley, in case you are looking for a more autonomous stay, while exploring this wonderful Portuguese wine region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, a word of caution. The douro valley is a wide region that starts in Mes\u00e3o Frio<\/strong> and goes all the way to Ponte da Barca<\/strong>, but the “touristy area”, where basically all the wine tastings take place, goes only from Peso da R\u00e9gua to Pinh\u00e3o<\/strong>. Therefore, I decided to split this list of the best bungalows in the Douro valley in two: the ones in the “touristy area” and the ones that are in more remote locations. Here we go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, if you want to do some wine tour & tastings during your stay in the douro valley, I recommend you to pick one of the bungalows I mentioned above.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can get to know the surroundings through long walks or cycling, and even go fishing. Be sure to visit Mirando do Douro, a cute little city that seems to have stopped in time (my family comes from there, actually, and I love the place!).
