It&#8217;s not the most Christmas-y, it&#8217;s not a place where you will find neither traditional products nor a lot of great food options, but it&#8217;s the one with the most <em>unique<\/em>, <em>modern<\/em> and edgy artisans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be vendors of jewellery, illustration, painting, fashion and wellness products. There will also be food options, with with Christmas baskets to feed the whole family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025 there will be not one, but two Christmas editions. It basically consists of five museums and some (pricey) restaurants with a fantastic view of the <a href=\"http:\/\/portoalities.com\/top-things-to-do-in-portos-ribeira\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ribeira neighborhood<\/a>. It is also home to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.getyourguide.com\/porto-l151\/porto-wow-the-wine-exhibit-ticket-and-tasting-experience-t409325\/?partner_id=H93B56T&amp;cmp=christmas-markets-porto\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">best wine museum in Portugal.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From November 22nd to January 6th, WOW promises to be a must-see during this festive season!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To kick off this special time of year, they will illuminate their fantastic 13-meter Christmas tree in the WOW Central Square on November 22nd. The celebration includes various activities such as musical concerts, a delightful Christmas carousel, visits with Santa Claus and even trampolines\u00a0<strong>\ud83d\ude42<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for the Christmas market&nbsp;<em>per se<\/em>, it will take place on the weekends starting on November 22rd, and from December 13th every single day until Christmas day. There will also be a food market, the Santa&#8217;s House, a Kids Zone, and even a Parisian carousel that will delight the children. It&#8217;s a wonderful, wonderful place for families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Address: Rua do Choupelo 39, in Vila Nova de Gaia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Schedule:\u00a0<\/strong>on the weekends of November 22nd and 23rd, November 29th and 30th, December 6th and 7th and then every single day from December 13th to the 23rd. The opening hours are from 12h to 20h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Matosinhos&#8217; Christmas market<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"668\" height=\"668\" src=\"http:\/\/portoalities.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/matosinhos-christmas-markets.jpg\" alt=\"matosinhos christmas markets\" class=\"wp-image-136950\" srcset=\"https:\/\/portoalities.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/matosinhos-christmas-markets.jpg 668w, https:\/\/portoalities.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/matosinhos-christmas-markets-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/portoalities.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/matosinhos-christmas-markets-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 668px) 100vw, 668px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The traditional craft fair in Matosinhos (FaMa), a nearby city where you can find <a href=\"http:\/\/portoalities.com\/best-seafood-restaurants-in-porto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">incredible seafood restaurants<\/a>, will become a Christmas market in 2025. There will be around 81 artisans from all around the country, who will sell Portuguese cheeses and sausages, chocolates, design products, books, clothing and jewelry, among other things to wear, to decorate the house and to eat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The market can be visited every day, with free entry, at Jardim Bas\u00edlio Teles, in front of the City Hall of Matosinhos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, I recommend you to attend the Christmas Concert with the Ensemble Vocal Pro Musica (a choir with over 100 years of history) at the Bom Jesus Church in Matosinhos, focusing on Christmas and sacred music from the 17th to the 21st centuries, starting at 21h30. <br><br>The excitement climbs even higher on 7th December at 17h30, when Santa rolls into town in a joyful parade before settling into his cosy house to greet families. <br><br>And the fun doesn\u2019t stop there \u2014 until 4th January the city keeps the magic alive with Christmas concerts, a full-on Magic Festival, hands-on workshops, theatre shows and plenty of surprises that make
