Taking a Douro Valley wine tour with Sara was one of the best decisions we took in Portugal. She took us on a boat ride in Douro river - it proved to be the right decision as it was a very warm day - and then she showed us a producer with amazing red wines. This is exactly what we were looking for - thank you Sara for making sure that we had such a personalized experience in Douro!
This was our first time in Portugal and we wanted to make the most out of our trip by experiencing a boat tour & wine tasting. Tommy played a huge part in making this day unforgettable. He was full of knowledge and helped us understand the wine culture and history of Ports a little better. Portoalities was extremely responsive and easy to work with. We would highly recommend this company for any tour you want to take in Douro area.
We did a full day in Douro valley and we had an excellent time! We loved Quinta do Portal, which has very interesting architecture and delicious wine. Lunch was delicious and the boat ride on the river was a lot of fun. We walked to the Pinhao railway station and admired the tiles at the station. Pedro had a lot of recommendations for our stay in Porto as well, which we appreciated a lot. Very fun day, would definitely recommend.
