Now, a word of caution. The douro valley is a wide region that starts in Mesão Frio and goes all the way to Ponte da Barca, but the “touristy area”, where basically all the wine tastings take place, goes only from Peso da Régua to Pinhão. Therefore, I decided to split this list of the best bungalows in the douro valley in two: the ones in the “touristy area” and the ones that are in more remote locations. Here we go!
