. And so that you don’t have a hard time, here’s the best places for group accommodation in Porto.
Group Accommodation in Porto: Families with kids
Travelling with kids, especially if they’re small, is quite a feat because they require special attention and touristic places often don’t cater to the young ones.

Porto City House

If you prefer quiet accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre then I recommend Porto City House.
This aparthotel is located in Ramalde, in a great residential area ideal for families with kids.
It has private parking, which is great if you’re renting a car to get around the city, and it’s just a few kilometres away from the main attractions of the city centre. For example, Lello bookstore is 5km away and Casa da Música roughly 3km away.
Finally, Porto City House has a terraced apartment with a double bed and sofa bed as well as studio apartments with a balcony. These are quite intimate and spacious options and the fact that it is located in a residential area makes it all the more attractive and suited for those travelling to Porto with kids.
How to get there: take the buses 201, 202, 502 or 503 to Foco stop in Avenida da Boavista (it’s less than 5 minutes on foot from the aparthotel).

Luiz I bridge which is great for sunsets and crossing over to Gaia to get to the Port Wine Cellars (Psst! It is definitely one of the most popular things to do in Porto so if you’re interested in visiting the cellars hurry up and buy your online ticket for a Fado Show at Calem Port wine cellar). 😉
