Sara’s knowledge and passion for Portuguese history and culture were evident. We saw things we never would have found on our own and Sara helped us to understand the heart of Portuguese people and what makes them special. We saw lots of major sights and many sidelights, including an early fire warning system, and stopped for a cup of espresso in her favorite cafe. Moreover, in planning our trip I had several communications with her and she was very responsive and helpful – not to mention patient. It was a great start to our Porto visit and we were fortunate to have Sara share the time with us.
