We did the full day Douro Valley tour with a river trip and what a wonderful day! Tommy is an excellent, knowledgeable guide who combines wit and wisdom perfectly. The river tour is in a lovely wooden boat, followed by lunch in a nearby restaurant which was authentic and delicious. We then visited a lovely family of winemakers who enthusiastically told us about their wines and their story. This was a private non-commercial tour, and the wines we tasted were wonderful. We will be bringing our families to do this tour again!
