We had the loveliest day touring the Douro Valley with Tommy of Portoalities. The morning was spent on a private tour of a family owned winery led by the son of the winery owner. It could not have been more enjoyable or personable. We then had a relaxing, delicious lunch. Then we sailed on the gorgeous Douro river as Tommy shared detailed information about the history of the region. On our way to Porto, he shared his favorite local restaurants and we dined at one of them – the meal was terrific and local (no tourists there!). We whole-heartedly recommend the Portoalities team and would call them again if we are lucky enough to get back to Porto.
